About Barrow International
Barrow International is dedicated to the distribution of marine products to new markets throughout Europe and the rest of the world. The business is owned and managed by David Barrow, a well known and respected name in the marine industry.
For twenty years David Barrow was a Director of Sparcraft, the world leader in the grand-prix yacht mast market with an annual turnover in excess of £5.5 million. David later became a Director of Ancasta Boat Sales, which has an annual turnover in excess of £9 million. Since then David has concentrated on Barrow International business along will holding some senior posts within marine industry bodies. David is currently the Chairman of the British Marine Federation's (BMF) International Development Committee.
In september 2009 Chris Feibusch joined forces with Barrow International strengthening the team and helping to cope with new market demand. Chris has more than 24 years’ marine industry experience, having held senior management positions with Holt, Lewmar, Halyard and CJR Propulsion. He established Global Marine Network earlier in 2009, with a very similar business model to Barrow International. David and Chris subsequently decided to consolidate their strengths and team up, with a view to expanding the business and increasing the level of support to existing clients.
Marketing
Barrow International offer marketing assistance to its clients and the distribution networks the organisations sets up. This assistance utilises Barrow International’s database, which is acknowledged by industry professionals as being one of the best in the market, as well as providing access to many high level decision-makers in the industry.
In April 2010 Barrow launched its WEB-IT online product publicity and promotion service utilising its powerful presence in the global marine market and extensive database of industry and marine press contacts.

European Counsel for Home Port Marine Marketing, a US product development and promotion consultancy
Barrow International has been employed as consultants to The Cowes Yacht Haven to advise on the management of high season events such Cowes Week and Admirals Cup.
DTI
The Department of Trade and Industry contracted Barrow International to research the distribution arrangements available to the British Marine Industry in New Zealand, and Australia. BI also provided a liaison service with the large amount of super yachts attending the America’s Cup and Millennium celebrations for 1999/2000.
Central to this project is the development of a British America’s Cup effort for the next event. This was successful as seen by Peter Harrison’s GBR Challenge.
Research for Trade Partners
In 2002 Barrow International was involved in compiling a major report on all aspects of the US marine industry with copies available from British Marine Federation offices.
Barrow International was involved in a USA mentoring scheme for UK companies wishing to export to North America.
In 2009 operating as Global Marine Network, Chris completed a research project, commissioned by the British Marine Federation and funded by UK Trade & Investment, examining the opportunities fro British Exporting companies in 6 emerging European countries: Croatia, Poland, Russia, Slovenia, Turkey and Ukraine.
